Start the needle,
There is so much going on lately. I got a VISTA position here in Sacramento. Yay!!! I'm so excited for this next adventure. My goals right now are focusing on making sure that I have a place to stay. Remember, this is only temporary until I get into the academy.
I'm happy that I get to go home to see my family though. I miss them so much. I love the idea of surprising mom and seeing my nephew for the first time. It's going to be nice even though it's only for a little while. It's been 9 months since I've seen them. I miss them so much. I'm in love with the idea of my future and I am fully invested in my journey. It's hard trying to do extra work outs and wake up extra early and be fully committed to it all but it's a work in progress.
I can tell that I am stressing, my hair is shedding so much and my cycle is irregular. I want to stay optimistic about everything working out but you know me. It's pretty easy to think the worst. God grant me peace.
