Start the needle,
This is the start of the full 3rd week out here in Oregon. It hasn't been too bad out her for the most part. Just a but cold. The days are longer than before we got here but it's still pretty fun when you do the work. Building beaver dams in the cold is not what I initially had in mind for my volunteer work, but it could be worse.
I'm trying to stay here in this moment but it's hard not to think about it. On the plus side, I saw snow up on the mountains today, but I was freezing so it wasn't that much fun to stand in.
Other than that, it's been a pretty OK day. I made a gingerbread house with Michelle while listening to Christmas music which was pretty fun. I've been keeping my mind off of things for the most part. Not completely, but it's enough to keep me sane. God, steady my heart and allow me comfort.
